Here are my selections for Mumbai (10/04/2011).
Race-1 Tysea (2), Bemisaal (7), Master Craft (3)
Sun Glory is the HOT favourite here. I am hoping it will not get level start and unruly as usual. I am not convinced by just one Mock Race.
Race-2: River Star (4), Alexus (1)
In this race however I am convinced by the Mock Race of River Star. Was a rousing Performer in Pune. Should bring the bacon home.
Race-3: Houdini (5), Sweet Nothings (4), Pound Foolish (1)
Even though Pound Foolish looks very good in this company, I am little hesitant to nominate as my first choice purely on Jockey factor. Therefore Houdini and Sweet Nothings pick themselves ahead of PF.
Race-4: Freany (4), Jens Glory (6), Golden Spurs(1)
Star Prince must be coming back from a training set back, therefore not considered here. Freany & Jens Glory have been knocking the door. Let us to whom MUM VICTORY opens the door. Blue Mellon(7) is the dark one here!
Race-5: Generalissimo (2), Sea Warrior (6), Lakhadema (5)
Yesterday’s Trend of Suraj favourites getting beaten by Lagad stable is likely to continue today also. Generalissimo I am definitely playing Each way.
Race-6: 3YO Maiden Race. No selection please. Make your pick after watching paddock looks.
Race-7: Silver Screen (5), Wild Imagination (6), Ocean Fairy (3)
But for R Shelar I would have picked Sterling Silver (2) instead of Silver Screen as my first choice. With Lagad one never knows!

Here are my selections for Mumbai (16/04/2011).
Race-1 Orito (6), Arabian Pride (4), Samiel (5)
Constantina is the best performed horse here. I am however overlooking its potential due to Jockey factor. Samiel has also performed well but being a bleeder and the weather very hot, she could be considered only as a 3rd choice. Orito gets the nod because he is the the unknown quantity here and “unknown quantity” has often won races.
Race-2: Bullet (1), Ashwa Parth (4)
It is time Bullet won.
Race-3: Blue Flash (4), Star Treasure (1)
Again it is time Blue Flash went up in handicapping scales by winning races.
Race-4: Sea Wonder(7), Midnight Club (1), Arabian Power (8)
If it does not play up at the time of stalling Sea Wonder should get the race. Otherwise Midnight club will take it.
Race-5: Ancient Wonder (4), River Blitz (2)
A tough battle in store between the above two. AW may just about pull it off.
Race-6: Game of Power (9), Golden Kingdom (5), Flying Star (1)
If trainer Sanjay Kolse takes the first Race with Samiel, his brother N. raghunath may try to win this race. Game of Power has good credentials in this company.
Race-7: Lord Of Killarney (7), Swept Away (1), Silver Screen (4)
Too many contenders. Flames Of Fire (2) is the best one and DARK ONE here! But I am not sure about the the intent and therefore could not nominate.

No harm in giving my take on today's races.
1st RACE-
A-ORITO-Came with a brilliant stretch run from a way off position at bend,to it's OWNER MATE-Aqualina,the winner.A reproduction of that run should see Orito canter home unless he gets bitten by the 'J.Pradeep' bug which causes Jockeys to be tired near the winning post and hence unable to ride out.
Jockey Dasrath Singh too,comes after a 15 days suspension.
B-FLYING JEWEL-Should Orbito falter,then this runner can do it.The 'BUG' having been contained in Jockey J.Pradeep.
2nd RACE-
HIGHLAND BOUNTY-This Trainer has been having a miserable run,post the Ocean and Beyond disqualification for dope.It's high time he comes out of the depths he's sunk into and moves into the 'HIGHLANDS' to collect the 'BOUNTY'.
3rd RACE-
BLUE FLASH-Has no business to lose ir-respective of the fact if ridden in front like BEASAME MOCHO( same Owner,Trainer and Jockey combo) or is brought in,off the pace.
Either way HE is a WINNER for HE towers over them all on BLOODLINES.
4th RACE-
A-ARABIAN POWER-Has not been stretched so far this season.Given easy weight reducing runs.Is ripe enough for the 'PLUCK'.
B-CLASSIC MONEY-This Trainer has been having most of his wards named after 'MONEY' but unfortunately never seem to be in the money.
It's high time HE did so and this runner of his has the potential to deliver.
5th RACE-An upset race,possibility seem high.
A-STAR SYMPHONY-Another Trainer who's been having a wretched run.Should get into winning groove with this runner of his.
B-RIVER BLITZ-The OWNER MATE of above.Should Star Symphony falter then this runner comes into contention.
6th RACE-
A-LAURUS PRIDE-Is home and dry.
7th RACE-
A-LORD OF KILLARNEY-The moral certainty of the day.

Here are my selections for Mumbai (17/04/2011).
Today in my selections apart from the credentials of the horses, I have also factored in my certain hunches. I request any everyone to take my selections only if it matches with their handicapping methods.
Today A Sandesh will not be eligible to claim the allowance as he has completed his 40 winners yesterday.
Race-1: Cougar (4), Taanush (5), Magical Mantra (3)
Taanush has been brought down in scales systematically, from Class II to Class V. Even with I Pardeshi on and coming last in all its appearances in Mumbai, this gelding has clocked comparatively the best timing for 1600M. Wit equipment change and positive jockey on board has potential to win. A professional in racing has opined once that such animals having not been allowed to run to potential for a long period of time may affect their psyche and therefore the animals may not perform to potential when asked for. If it does not win today here the owner may well migrate him to Delhi where it can reel of wins for the asking. Cougar is therefore is my 1st choice, where the intent is also seen.
Race-2: Daffodils (5), Highland Flame (1), Scenic Silver (6)
Daffodils has been very consistent and performed well against better company than she is facing today.
Race-3: Esmeraldo (1), Follow the Dream (8), Special FX
3YO Maiden Race. Selection is based on track work. Make your pick after watching paddock looks.
Race-4: Beyond Stars (1), Generalissimo (2), Running Sun (3)
Beyond Stars, looks like the winner going by odds, previous run, form and fitness etc. But I have an hunch that Generalissimo might just put it across the favoured ones in this race.
Race-5: Onassis (3), Mr Greedy (2), Sprint Star (1)
Even though Onassis towers over the others, somehow it is Sprint Star which is disturbing me. I may bet on Sprint Star and against Onassis in this race.
Race-6: Dancing Dame (2), Marudhara Ratan (5), Distant Promise (4)
Tell Me More (1), is the Dark one here.
Race-7: Smooth Operator (11), Royal Prince (6), Star Vision (1)
If the intent is shown close to race time Smooth operator should thrash this company. Royal Prince is the the unknown quantity here and “unknown quantity” has often won races.
Race-8: Pronto Star (4), Good Looking (11), Sleuth (6)
Another 3YO Maiden Race. Selection is based on track work. Make your pick after watching paddock looks.
